Our Worship
There are a variety of services, with and without music, in contemporary English (using Common Worship) and using the traditional language of the Book of Common Prayer, and at different times of day, held throughout the seven parishes each Sunday.
Many services are lay-led, either by a “Licensed Lay Minister” (LLM or Reader) or by Lay Worship Leaders who are commissioned to conduct a “Service of the Word” (including Morning or Evening prayer, otherwise known as Matins and Evensong – but not Communion services).
You are welcome to attend any of them regardless of where you live (in the parishes or outside them).

Each Church has a regular monthly patten of one Communion Service and one Lay Led service every month. These are listed for each Church on their own page, or to see what's happening across the whole Benefice see the Benefice Services page for the full monthly service rota.
We also have a weekly Mid-Week Communion Service at East Stour Church on Wednesday Mornings at 10:30am, with a 'Healing Communion Service' on the second Wednesday of the Month.
There is a monthly prayer meeting on the last Friday of the month at 2pm in East Stour Church.
We have a Breakfast Church service on the 3rd Sunday of the month at Buckhorn Weston - more informaton on the Families and Children page.
And, of course, there are the various additional services for the different seasons of the liturgical year, such as Christmas, Easter and Harvest Festivals. For more details of these services, see our 'Seasonal Services' page.
When there is a 5th Sunday in the month, we usually have a Benefice in on of the churches - please see the Benerfice Services rota page for details.
